Dear Lord,
Thank you so much for your love for us. We know that you are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust you with anything and everything. We pray now that you would make your guiding hand known as we pray for this situation of job loss for ________. Lord, you created each of your children with unique gifts and talents, and have given us a calling to fulfill here on earth. We know that here on earth, everything is susceptible to change and nothing is certain, including our jobs and vocational work. When bumps and roadblocks come along, it is easy to become worried, stressed, and anxious. And in the case of the loss of a job, these feelings and emotions increase exponentially as our minds race and play out “what if” and “what could be” scenarios. Lord, we pray that you grant your peace that surpasses understanding, knowing that you are always here and that your perfect, strong, guiding hand is over the situation and that you will provide direction and comfort as these times are navigated. Help us to remember that you are in control and have our best plans already made. We ask you now to help make those plans known as we also pray for the strength and resilience in maintaining a sense of peace during this time for ________. We know that you will continue to provide guidance and direction in this path, and that you will help bring about the best for {him/her} in the coming days, weeks, and months.
